From 24th to 26th June, Flow-nano took part in three inspiring days at the International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF) in Vienna — the leading global event for the flow battery sector. The forum brought together the entire supply chain, with companies and stakeholders from around the world.

This year’s edition was exceptionally well attended, confirming the exponential growth of interest in flow battery technologies and the strong momentum building across the industry.
The conference program featured key discussions on:
Large-scale deployment of flow batteries and energy storage systems
Policies and strategies to support Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES)
Vanadium-based and alternative chemistries
Technical advancements in flow battery operation, components, and manufacturing
The third day kicked off with a powerful session focused on boosting the efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of flow battery technologies. Our Laura Rizzi had the pleasure of contributing to the conversation with a presentation on how Flow-nano's nanostructured carbon electrodes can significantly enhance performance while reducing costs.
We’re grateful to be part of such an engaging and forward-thinking community.
Looking forward to continuing the dialogue and driving innovation together!
